The aftermarket cowl hood didnt fit worth a sh*t so i ended up having to cut it.

Before, the rear of the hood was too wide to fit between the fenders. here you can see my sharpie line of the material i needed to remove

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...7/DSCN5103.jpg

i cut straight down the hoods edge and removed abt 1/8"-3/16" from each side and tacked closed

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...7/DSCN5106.jpg

Finished edge and near perfect body gap

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...7/DSCN5132.jpg

Had to have someone come and help install the windshield, boy what a bear to install with the stainless trim. well worth the money but i ended up having to help the whole time! oh well at least i now know another how to.

The blazer and i took a drive this morning... This is me gettin her loaded on the trailer. (hint: bodywork is completely finito)

pics tomorrow of how it turned out.

Nice job on the hood gap - so am I correct in assuming it is at the painter now?

Curious as to why you put in the windshield before you painted it? Seems like it would be better to do it after, but maybe I'm wrong. Looks awesome either way!

Your ruck looks GREAT! I know what you mean about the trim around the windshield. those are a major pain in the butt.:waah: BTW, drive it in primer if you want.

Ahh, makes sense now. I see glossy paint now after I look back. How long do you think it will be at the paint shop?
