I've always kinda wondered this too, but the gate and the gate hardware is production stuff. The truck is a '67 judging by the dash cluster and knobs.

Whoever did it had a lot of time involved in it!

How long it took
What it looked like new
Could there have been a finish that would have lasted longer
what the weight was compared to the steel bed.
And why didn't he/she do a nice wood camper too????

That is amazing craftsmen ship right here. I don´t even want to know how long it took him to build this bed. But the wheel opening is just amazing!
