here is a 46 on a 72 frame you will have to narrow the track to tuck the wheels

maibe it will be enough to use C25 or one ton single wheel front hubs , they dont stick out so much
in the rear he can make his own c&c bij fitting dually hubs on a single wheel 14 bolt
