Nice job on the '57, Dennis! Sounds like you're staying busy as well.

Cleaned up the 57 so I can deliver it. It was covered with overspray, and looked like crap. Looks like I just finished it again. Next is the engine compartment. The 454 will look great again too. :metal:

Looks great. What are you using to clean?

Strodder 12-22-2013 11:25 PM

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up

I pressure washed it up on the rack, and wiped it down. Then masked everything off and repainted the parts that had overspray. Which was a lot. Like the rear springs, parts of the frame, and even the rear end. :uhmk:

The taillights on your truck are really coming in nice!
Are you going to be adding side markers, and if so, what kind?

how come just about all of the pictures have such a busy background. it is quite hard to really see what is there esp that one black one in his garage with a black hood and other things behind it. should have a nice clean simple backdrop with out crap sticking out from every which where. now if they were boob pictures, they would quite visible and defined!
ron
even blow up ones

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up

Hey Chris, I've been busy on everybody's stuff but mine. I'm trying to cut down on work so I can do mine. I'm trying to retire, but it's not working. :uhmk:
After the 67 C-10 I'm doing I have a 38 Packard coming in for complete air bag job. Then have a 50 Chevy truck with a S-10 frame conversion. After that I'm not taking any more jobs in. I will have just my 65 Truck and a good friends 40 Ford Woody to finish a frame off restoration. No hurry on that one. ;)
