Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

I have wanted to join this site for a long time. I am on another Duramax website and someone sent me a link to this great site. So, here I am. I will eventually get more pictures up. I bought my truck from another fireman all original. It took 2.5 years to build. It has a full custom chassis and everything else you can imagine. I am not a fabricator, I just enjoy designing trucks and turning a wrench (wiring, brake lines, take it apart and put it back together). I hope to share, and receive, good information here.

YOLO :welcome2: from a fellow newbie

Get yourself a photobucket account. Go to photobucket.com and sign up.

When your done you can upload your pictures to your album.

after they are uploaded you will see several codes under that picture. copy the one thats called "image code" it starts with [img]

Just paste that entire code into the box used to post messages here and the pics will appear when you post your message.

you can upload directly from your computer, just click go advanced then click on the paperclip, it will open a new window where you can browse and upload 5 pics per post. (if your pics are too big you will get an error message) after they upload close the window and click on the paperclip again an click insert all, then you can move them around your post.....clear as mud???

oh and WELCOME aboard!!!!

here is alinky with pics

Re: Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

that is a friend of mine. He has the exact same frame as my 63. he is just stuck in slow motion right now waiting for the funds to come in. He also needs a bed for it.
You caught me in that picture. I am to the left of the guy with the black hat. LOL!

Re: Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

joe231. That is a full custom install for the reverse hood. Sorry, I only have pictures of the hood open. I never took step by step photos of the install. The truck took 3 years to build, I has not going to delay it any longer.

Re: Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

Thank you Hoser's Girl.
Thank you Joe231.
Thank you everyone who sent me emails. I will continue to send pictures when they are requested. I also have posters of this truck. It is easier to get them locally in AZ, but I will send them to you if requested. The only problem is shipping. If I had to pay for shipping to everyone, I would go broke. So, you have to pay for shipping. Sorry!

Re: Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

cool, how much for shipping on the posters to 73071, and what size are they?

YOLO 07-22-2008 05:20 PM

Re: Newbie from AZ Full Custom '63

posters are 11x17. I have to go to the local post office and get a price.
