67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

If anyone is interested, we finished up the prototype a few months back, and have tested them on several trucks, and the word is, go......they work great.

Fully bushed and sleeved assembly, 100% bolt on to the frame. Set up for standard Corvette master cylinder/booster.

Here's a few pics. any questions, ask away.

Roger that. I sent a PM or two out and did not get any response. I would like to advertise, but have not heard from anyone.

Mods, feel free to delete if this violates your TOS until I advertise.

Who are you? Are you from a company or individual? I've always wondered why I couldn't find this product. Is there a reason why?(you always see them for fords and older street rods)

I'm interested. How much? So are you selling just the bracket and pedal assembly? Does the booster hang below the frame? Give us more detailed info!! Thanks!

So, maybe I missed this, but why would you weld in the bends?

c-10ss 10-07-2008 11:46 PM

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

when u bend metal with a break press the tooling leaves a line in the metal which makes it weaker with tight raduis bends

Hey guys, new to the board here. Nice looking place you have here, and I hope I can contribute.

I work for a major aftermarket suspension manufacturer, so I get to do a lot of stuff with 67-72 trucks. I won't name the company cause I don't want to spam here.

Thanks for having me aboard.

He is in Oxnard, CPP is in Anaheim. The MC says CPP. Hmmm... something is coming together here. Now the question is where did he go?

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

id be assamed to work at CPP too:lol: they've got a not so good reputation here......

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

LOL..you guys are killing me!!

I work for Scotts Hotrods in Oxnard CA. I just happened to have a CPP MC laying around when I shot the pics. As soon as I get the vendor sub paid I'll offer up more info, I just don't want people to think I'm spamming the board.

But yes, the inside bend is welded up for strength. Actually after its bent, the outside is welded also, it's just ground to a smooth finish.

Oh here's the Master Cylinder we make ;)

spoke to these guys, very nice people. they make other products for our trucks. They are ready to become vendors and say they are waiting on a response back from their pm's. Lets get them going!

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I'm all set, sometimes I'm a little PM tarded, but I got it all figured out.

Yes, we do make a whole bunch of items for these year trucks. To be honest, I can't think of a single truck we don't make something for.

How much $$ and how do we order?

Does the booster hang below the frame????

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

None of that stuff is on your website (or at least I couldn't find it!) Any place to see all of the parts you guys make for these trucks?

the unit just as you see it with a standard master cylinder is $425.00 plus shipping. the booster does hang a little below the frame. Essentially, look at the bracket it's attached to; that is the same width as your frame. you can kind of see here in this picture.

sorry, I'm working on that. The website is a constant reminder of I need more time,

As far as other items, we manufacture a 4-link, i.f.s with airbags that gets about 9" of travel, we make custom consoles, and more. I'll post some others up for you guys to see in a new thread

does the 425 include the booster and mc? what size booster is in the pic? do you have a side shot? I really need to know exactly how far below the frame it hangs. Thanks!

Yes at $425.00 it does include the Master cylinder and Booster. It's a standard corvette master cylinder, 1-1/8" bore and a dual diaphragm booster. I'll take a pic tomorrow and show you how low it hangs.

looks like it hangs below the frame... that's an expensive drag block:lol:

hey to let u know u don't have to weld up the bends for that kind of bracket , i only weld up bends at work for stuff thats going out for galvinizing becuase after it comes back with out welding the bend a simple wack with a hammer will snap it

Yeah, no real need, but every product we manufacture comes with a lifetime warranty, so better safe than sorry...

Sorry, just got some pics uploaded yesterday.

Here you can see exactly how far it'll hang below the frame; unfortunately there's not an installed on in the shop right now, but I'll see if I can dig up some pics of one.

Yes that's us. We are building a radical roadster to compete this year, as well as we have projects that are being built to compete for Street Machine Of The Year and others.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I noticed on the site you can get it without the booster/master. If so, how much for the bracketry?

Also, any consideration of a group buy for the members here? Hey somebody's gotta ask :chevy:

stunna 10-10-2008 01:26 PM

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

I see thats a 7 inch booster, will that be enough to adequately stop the truck? I will have disc brakes on all 4 corners ( hopefully 13 inch rotors). If so count me in for a group buy if available!

how you gonna get a group buy if you don't ask, LOL...

let me double check pricing on just the pedal assembly with no master cylinder (gotta ask the boss); but as far as a group buy, I'd be game. I look at group buys like shows. lower the price to sell in bulk:metal:

I'll post up a price in a bit

1-1/8 bore master cylinder, dual diaphragm booster; absolutely plenty enough to stop your truck.

I'm working on some pricing for you guys right now.

Re: 67-72 Bolt in pedal assembly

Thanks for the pics. How far is the top of the booster to the floor pan? The reason I ask is from the pics, it looks like the whole assembly can move up. Is there any solution to us guys that lay frame?

Installed pics would be great- it would answer a BUNCH of questions I have, like:

- How does it affect exhaust clearance?
- Is there room to service the master once installed, or would there need to be an access panel?
- How is the pedal arm sealed at the floor?

This would be nice for the Blazer...

Looks like there is room to move it up, but that would also affect pedal placement/geometry...

same thing i was thinking scoti, i think this assembly will work for most people who are not laying the frame on the ground (like me), but looks like you could get very low and not drag it.
