Does anyone know where I can get 72 suburban left rear interior side panel. it's the side that is not a door. I have the 2 front and right rear interior panels they are black. can't find the left rear side panel.

Here's a nice complete Blue set listed in the Blazer Burb parts section. Don't know if they are still available?

I have been working on sand blasting small parts for the last 3 week ends and started assembly on the front grill. I have a question on the plastic inserts the new one's don't sit flush like the OEM one did. the grill is a repo one.

Re: 71 4X4 Frame off Restoration

The guy doing the sheet metal work for me was involved in a car accident last week and I was not able to pick up my frame. He called me today and I can pick it up Saturday. I have to install the engine and transmission to fit the cross member and transfer case. Then I can get it powder coated hopefully next week.

I bought the set of door panels from Cheyenne shortstep yesterday. Thanks 7dee2 for pointing the add out. I will see what I can do to paint them the color I end up with for my interior. Thinking about a tan color.

Cool I'm glad you got em! The paint/dye products they make these days are pretty good I bet you can change the color pretty easily.

I picked up my frame Saturday and reinstalled the dirty dingo engine mount. Sunday My nephew helped me set up transmission mount and install the transfer case. We had to re-clock it as I guessed At what I thought would work. custom fab up the transmission mount worked out great. Removed the engine, trans and t case so I can weld up the extra holes I don't need. The weather is going to make it difficult to weld as it could rain most of next week. No shop to roll the frame in at home. the garage is full of part and tools.

I know you don't see the frame but nice to have it finished and smoothed, well worth it.

It looks great. I feel you on the rain. I'm about 2 hours north of you and this weather has been killing me. I also have a bare 4x4 frame in my driveway. I've been spending the past few weeks rebuilding the front dana 44. I would like to sandblast the frame but I can't get a long enough break from the rain. I'm tempted to roll it I. The garage and take an angle grinder with a wire wheel to the frame. As soon as I paint it. I can start building everything up. Good luck. All your work looks great !

With 6" lift and 36" you will be able to see parts of the frame. swanp rat I hope Santa brings your air compressor soon. I would be in trouble if I did not have a compressor.
The weather is looking better for this week I have a 4 day week end after Christmas and New years.8 days to get some work done.

I'm media blasting my door hardware and some of the plastic wheels on the window cranks are missing and I was wondering if they are repairable or do I have to replace the hole part. The pictures show the missing wheel and one that is ok.

I know they are out there and have replaced the rollers in other projects (used the bolt on style) this might be a lead. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=393033

I'm having the frame power coated gloss black after I finish welding up the extra holes.
