Tie Rod & Sleeve Question

I am converting my 69 C10 to tubular's with coil overs and disc brakes.
All the parts are from one company and they are:
Tubulars & coilovers for a 63-70 C10
Power disc brake conversion for a 67-70 C10
Tie rods & sleeves for a 63-70 C10

The issue I am having seems to be the adjusting sleeve which is their performance adjusting sleeves for 63-70- disc brake conversion.
The adjusting sleeves ends are 2 different sizes- one is .558 and the other is .619 (as close as I could get with the measuring calipers, I could be off a little). The outer tie rod will screw into the smaller end, while the inner tie rod just slides into the other end. Both tie rod threaded shafts are the same size. If I switch the tie rod ends around the outer just slides in the bigger end and the inner will not screw into the smaller end (I presume opposite thread direction).

I have discussed this with the company in various emails and am still waiting on an answer from their engineers. If my memory is correct the original style sleeves will not work because they are for 5/8" shafts.

I'm confused, frustrated and at a loss on what is going on here.

Any thoughts??

Thanks
Larry

Re: Tie Rod & Sleeve Question

If the inner/outer TRE ends are similar in size, you need to source a sleeve w/the same dimensions on each end but w/LH & RH threads. If not 5/8", they may be 11/16.
