I was SOOOOOO close to actually saying that in my post... but decided against it, but I guess it's fairly obvious :haha:

BTW, the garage, NO WHERE NEAR that clean now. It's crammed full of my storage unit stuff, truck parts, a trailer full of yard equipment, and hopefully, with some rearranging, the 67 will fit in there again until I can put all of the stuff in the house

Hmmmm. Looks like you and me have something in common. When I got my truck it was an old farm truck used in Oregon. It spent it's whole life out in the rain and yuck.

They make such nice aftermarket repop parts (for our trucks) now that it doesn't make much sence to me to find factory parts. I want to replace the pieces that were the most damaged... oh wait, that's just about everything. Keep us posted on the redo progress. If you did such nice work on a "quickie", I can't wait to see how she turns out when you take your time. It will be awesome I bet!

 Thanks Don. Every time this gets bumped there's like another thousand views... and nothing to see

Maybe some new members will see it and enjoy it.

I've just been driving it lately. I did get some fender well patches from NM from Hart_Rob so I can fix my fleet bed if I ever get it home. I'm currently remodeling my house which is taking forever :D

Help! My dad gave me a 1967 GMC 351E. Yes 351E. It runs great. Strong motor. He used it for what it was intended. My issure is the 351E. No ne seems to have hears of it and I need a exhaust manifold for it. Any suggestions?

Trish,
WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!! You would ordinarily have gotten a response or 12 by now, but this is sort of an old thread, so people don't respond as quickly as they did when it was newer.

I hope you've found your answer, or your part, by now. In case you haven't, the best suggestion I can make is to hit the "subscribe" button at the top of any page on the boards, and pay the $25. Then you can post a "WTB" (wanted to buy) ad in the classifieds. If anybody out there has a manifold for a 351, this board is the place to find them.

BTW, you can access the classifieds, and reply to ads without subscribing, but if you want to start a new thread in there, you'll have to pony up first.

Welcome again, and good luck!! If you need anything else, click on my name, then click on "send a private message to Tynee." I'll do my best to help you out.

Woah, new replies

No, sorry, I have no idea what a 351E is, sounds like a Ford engine

Yep, someday! I have all the parts I need to do a proper rebuild, but now I have a 67 Firebird that's next in line, so she'll be a stepside for a hell of a lot longer :metal:

Thanks all :D I still drive the piss out of it. Since done, it's been to Tennessee once and North Carolina a bunch of times. I think I've put around 14-15K on it since 2006.

Thanks!

I've owned the truck for 18 years. She still gets driven regularly. She's been parked outside 24/7 for the past 18 years, so she's not quite as pretty as she was in 2006 after the repaint but still looks pretty good.

I bought her a buddy to hang out with. If I can ever finish with this new pile o crap (te hee) the truck is getting a rebuild. The mustang has had A LOT done to it. A/C. Complete front suspension rebuild. Complete interior overhaul, and I swapped it from a auto to a 5 speed manual.

Day I brought the car home... kinda looks like an "old man car" doesn't it? Well, it was, the PO was in his mid 70s when he sold it to the dealer I bought it from (does the truck look pissed to you?):

... and recent...

The last pic of the truck was taken just a few weeks ago with me behind the wheel at a club event.

Thanks for diggin up my old thread for new people to see and hopefully enjoy...

If anyone is wondering "what happens" to trucks that are owned by the same guy for a long time... we just can't leave the damn things alone... just last month marked the 20th year I've owned this truck. I bought it when I was 15 from a family member in November 1996.

The first pic is from my Truck Club's Track day in April 2016 and the last two are from a couple weeks ago picking up a Christmas Tree in NC.

Saw your truck in Myrtle Beach at the show this past weekend. There was no one around at the time though, but cool truck though. I had my Corvette in the show over on the other side of the parking lot.

I walked the whole show on saturday, it took from 8 until like 3 and I'm sure I still missed stuff. I had never been before, definitely a cool show.
