C20 drop spindle availability?

OK so I've ordered 5 sets of drop spindles for my c20 from various sources (amazon, eBay, Pol) and they all said they were in Stock.... However apparently the casting place that makes them is shut down and no one can get them. Does anyone have them available as a surplus of extra stock? Or know another place to actually find them?

Re: C20 drop spindle availability?

Here's what we know on the subject...
We've checked as have most other suppliers of these and haven't found any sources that have any left in stock. The original manufacturer had their factory closed over emission's reasons and that manufacturer has yet to locate a new factory to make them in yet and doesn't anticipate having them available for at least 5-6 months.
BUT a different manufacturer supplier of spindles here in the USA located the last pair and they have already provided them to their factory and are currently in progress of making them. But this takes time for new molds to be made, first castings completed, quality check of them, then approval to manufacture, followed by CNC machining & spindle pins. Anticipated to available in May 2019 hopefully if things go right and they do have a priority on them.
So you'll with a 99% certainty need to find a set someone's previously purchased that is willing to part with them.
Currently it is only the 3/4 ton disc brake drop spindles affected as the stock height 3/4ton disc brake spindles are in good supply.

Sorry getting manufacturer information can be like pulling hens teeth sometimes.

For the 3/4 ton drop spindles - The castings are completed. They are currently tooling up for the machine work. Once it's completed they should have a sample in hand in about 2-3 weeks to fit all the components to. In all, we are still about 6-8 weeks out i would guess at best estimate from information currently available.

Use C30 if you have disk brakes, and change the caliper.

Re: C20 drop spindle availability?

The spindles for our back ordered customers are supposed to arrive this week. The 1st shipment that's arriving this week of the 3/4 ton drop spindles is only a partial shipment intended to cover most all vendors old open orders ( back orders ) on them. There's a full shipment due in 3-4 weeks from now that should have all vendors back in stock.
That's everything we know.
