Can You Identify These Parts
5 Attachment(s)
So, I've accumulated some parts over the years and I have a few that I'd appreciate some help refreshing my memory as to what they are.
Thanks Parts 1 & 2 (these were in the same bag. I believe they are for the radio. AM or FM?) |

Part 7
So I know this is a rear view mirror cover but is it a one year only piece? 1968? |

Got a few questions, the only wire that has 2 connectors at on end is part #3. The red wire in the first post only has one connector at each end. Here's a pic of that wire that shows the whole thing. It does however plug into the back side of the connector on the green wire. Wasn't sure where the other end plugs in. Also, why does the lighter wire have 2 connectors on one end? Could those cage nuts be used somewhere else too? For some reason I bought about 10-15 of them. |
Re: Can You Identify These Parts
Sorry, my mistake. The cigarette lighter wire is the one with two connectors at the fuse panel end. That's so you can piggyback multiple connectors into the same power socket on the fuse panel.
I can't think of another location where those caged nuts would be used. Hopefully someone else will chime in on the mirror mount cover. I'm wondering if it is a GMC part. |
Re: Can You Identify These Parts
Based on these two posts, it looks like that mirror cover might be a 69 only.

69 it is then. Thanks!

Re: Can You Identify These Parts
If I recall correctly, other connector on the cig lighter wire would go to the blower motor relay. Provides direct power for high speed fan.

The cage nuts are also used at the bottom of the door for the screws that attach the metal door panels. LockDoc |
