That's what I tried it tell him ;)

Reminds me of the Andy Griffith show and Barney's new car...

Barney:
"Here's one for a fixer-upper.
1949 Hudson terraplane.
Was fallen on last saturday by a 30-ton semi-trailer.
Lots of miles left in the rubber."

Here are some pics. Hood is rough around the corners with rust, not sure if its worth it to anyone. Cowl and cowl corners look good. Interior pieces are pretty good as well with what appears to be a factory cut hole for a clock? My brother said someone had put an oil gauge in its place, but the hole looks too clean clean not to be factory.

How's the driver door glass? Looks like it may be ok in the pic. If it is, I am interested in it and the passenger side vent window glass if it is good. Thanks :gmc2:

Driver's door glass and passenger vent glass are both ok. I'll get you a price.

How about the heater switches and all their cables and stuff?

Also, rear view mirror? I have one but it's loose as heck. A bump throws it out of wack.

All headed to 78757.

Also, I guess I should ask how the turn signal mechanism is that runs from the arm to the switch down in the steering column?

Thanks,
Scott

I'm looking for a clutch pedal and actuator arm. The teeth on mine are stripped. Please let me know if you have one. Would appreciate pics and what you'd ask shipped to 90815. Thanks!

Just looked closer was that column a shifter column (auto or manual)? If so does anyone know how hard it is to remove or plug up the hole?

It was a column shift at one time I think. Just talked to my brother and he might end up using the column on another project so it might be on the hold list for now.

If your brother or the poster above me passes, I need the sleeve that picks up the shoulder/bolt to attach the bottom of the column to the steering box shaft...maybe called a steering coupler ?
The shop lost mine!
Going to 01821
Thanks!

Will put you in line if my bro don't use it!

Does anyone know for sure if the interior parts for a 62 are interchangeable with a 63? I'm thinking yes, but want to confirm it.

I think most would interchange, although I believe some underdash stuff might differ

Thanks Blue Blood. Specifically looking at the gauges, heater controls and ash tray. I think that stuff is the same from all the pics I've seen.
