Question about installing new gauge panel. Help

I am starting to re due the interior of my truck and i am looking at changing my old bezel and gauges for a updated version with AutoMeter gauges in it. Well i have seen a few post on this but i am not too comfortable doing all the work by myself. My question is how hard will it be to do this myself or would it be better to just pay someone to do it for me? I will be keeping the Speedometer mechanical so i won't have to do any other electrical. Can anyone help me out with this one. Maybe even some tricks and knowledge on what and how to do it. Thanks

Re: Question about installing new gauge panel. Help

I was thinking of replacing my gauges with auto meter but I read on here the you will have close to 700 bucks invested. I decided to go with the Dakota digital for 850 bucks. It's got everything needed for installation. It looks like its a straight forward hook up. I think I can do it. Good luck!!

I like the Dakota gauges but i was looking at the american instruments gauges. They have an old school look to them. But i would like to try to do everything myself, not really sure if i can do it or not.
