Firewall heater hole for aftermarket A/C?

70 C10 1/2ton
It originally just had a simple heater with no A/C. I am likely going to be installing an aftermarket AC heat combo kit (vintage or old air) and I am wondering how these kits incorporate the stock holes on the passenger side of the firewall. I am asking now so I don’t have to back track down the road when this truck is in primer or paint.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

They come with block-off plates for the blower fan hole and a large plate for the other 2 holes. The new systems like the Vintage Air put everything inside under the dash. The only thing that passes thru the firewall are the 2 heater hoses and and the 2 A/C hoses

Thank you, Mars.

One more question now: Considering a vintage with everything under the dash, does anyone have under dash photos of the installation? Just thinking ahead of where to mount the ECM for the LM7 I’m using.
