On my 72 K10 I run KO 35's and I need to get a wider wheel. Currently have 15x8 ralley's...looking for 15x10 to get more rubber on the road. Pictures are helpful. Thanks

4.5" is pretty standard on the production wheels. They look and work fine in many cases. My new 17x10 wheels are 4.5". If you want different than that you will probably have to go custom. Actually wanted a 17x9, could not find without going custom. Truck looks good, why not just run a lower pressure if concerned about wear? With the 35's I would not be worried as low as 25-28 psi.

The 10" wheels might make the difference between rubbing and not rubbing. Is that a 4" lift? From my experience, 4" lift with 35/12.50s draws the line between fitting with 8" wheels and light rubbing with 10s. I currently have 8" wheels, 4" lift, and 285/75s. All work very well together. I want to go to 35s and really like 10" wheels better for the look I want. But when I had 35/12.50-16.5s on 9.75" slots they rubbed some when flexing on a turn. People seem to have no issues running 12.50s on 8" wheels. It seems to be the standard these days, when back in the day we always ran them on 10s. Less are should flatten your tread out

As far as air pressure goes, I have been running 27psi. recently changed to 24psi and the tread is flatter. I have read that 20 psi is minimum>>?

That is the drawback of narrow rims and wide tires. You have to run them soft to get the tread to lay flat on the road. That could get interesting in high speed (speed limit) cornering. I tried it for a week or so and then bought 10" rims. That would completely change the look of your truck though. If you like the rally wheel look then I would be inclined to leave it as is.

There’s this option too if you like the rally look.

Awesome truck by the way! Love the marker lights on a short K10.

I would wait until you need new tires then I would go to a 16 or 17 or even 18 inch wheel. That lets you run 4.5” of backspacing instead of 3.5” which means it moves the outside of the wheel out 1” and the inside edge in 1” on a 10” rim which is common in 16 and 18 inch diameters. If you run 17’s the 9” is more common. That allows for more and better clearance to the fender cup and the frame IME.

What style of 15x10 wheels are you looking for? Fuel wheels has a nice selection of 15x10 rims.

Are those vintage mag wheels restored or are they new? If new can you tell us a little more about them. Where did you get them, approx cost, back spacing. Im a sucker for mag wheels, your truck looks great.
