I know the square body trucks from Mexico were still available in a 1/2 ton up till 91 and had the same front end as the 89-91 Suburbans/Blazers/Crew Cabs had here.

GM made the square standard cab till 91 in the states but it was only on the 1 ton, dual rear wheel, and cab n chassis trucks.

The difference I've heard rumored is they sold the 1/2 and 3/4 ton RV series in Mexico, Central, and South America.
