1949 rolling chassis and 1960 235 ci engine and trans

Making some space for Phase 2 of my project. For sale is the original 1949 Chevy 3100 rolling chassis. Includes frame, steering, and front suspension along with a 1960 235 ci inline 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission, and rear differential. There is no structural rust or problems. Some surface rust, but the truck had been restored once before so much of the frame is still painted. Great for an original restoration. The fuel pump and carburetor need to be cleaned as she idles very rough after sitting in the desert for a few years. She just needs some TLC.

Details:
New master cylinder, rear brake cylinders, and new rear brake pads
New thermostat and thermostat housing
Has 12v Conversion completed so it runs off a regular car battery. All other components still run 6v.
Engine block #3836848 GM 28

The bad:
There is a leak in the brake line right behind the master cylinder otherwise the brakes are almost new.
There is no fuel tank and the fuel line needs to be replaced.
The carburetor will need new gaskets
The wiring harness is intact and labelled for easy install along with the fuse boxes and relay boxes. The wiring really needs to be replaced. Lots of frayed and cracked housing but it serves its purpose.

I am currently working on removing the cab. It doesn't come with the sale, sorry. I'm looking for interested buyers over the next few weeks to get the garage cleaned out. I'll include the pedals, steering column, and 4 wheels to help roll it onto a trailer. Chassis is in Hershey, PA

SOLD @ $900 for anyone thinking of selling theirs and needs a market comparison.

Yes sir. Sourced a 1992 S10 long bed locally that I'll pick up next week. Project stops until I can clear out the garage since the wife gets the other spot in the winter. Cab is almost unhooked, so anytime now someone is welcome to take the rest :) I'll be a little sad to see it go just because a part of me would love to keep the body work with the original frame

All sold and sent off today. Glad it found a home with a guy nearby. We're committed to meeting with two running trucks by the end of the year :) Moderators, feel free to delete this thread.
