72 C10 (custom10) 1/2 ton orange paint?

Can someone help me finding the name or code of this type of orange? My 72 was orange, but sometime in it's life someone painted it, now I want to paint it with the original orange and white bumpers.

I have been looking the internet and the only similar trucks that I found are these ones, orange and white bumpers.
I read that it could be a medium bronze but I'm not really sure, it seems to be brown instead of orange

The color of the second link seems to be the same, my truck bed still has that orange paint intact

The spid might get you close. I went to a local automotive paint dealer, who pulled out a book that had the color. I'm sure someone here has code

An original orange 72 can be either "orange" code 516 or "red-orange" code 524.
516 is also known as Tangier Orange / 524 is also known as Hugger Orange.
Your first link looks more like code 516.
Note, the SPID code may be different if it was a two tone truck that had orange as the primary color, but the code for "just" the orange part is 516 or 524.
For example, in 72,
516 with white roof = 546
516 with white roof and middle = 483 (1st pic below)
524 with white roof = 553
524 with white roof and middle = 458 (2nd pic below)

Medium bronze is code 522, but doesn't look anything like your first link. It's much more of a brown than an orange.
516 (pri color), 524 (pri color), and 522 (pri color) shown in order below.

Can you post a pic of the bed of your truck? The 2nd link you shared just goes to a big google search.

Good point - old med red definitely looks orange. Almost too cool looking to repaint it, it's one of those colors.

My 72 K10 is orange but I believe the color sheet for 72 called it yellow.

I think you are looking for Red Orange, also called Hugger Orange (526) or Medium Red (514). 516, Tangiers or Omaha Orange, is a pure orange such as Allied Moving Vans or Asplundt Tree Service. It is the orange from the fleet color program. I'm not seeing that on my screen. This orange definitely has red in it. If there is a spot to strip the newer paint and polish the original that would tell, if there is no SPID. Usually stripper with tear up the over paint and leave the OEM paint intact. GM used good paint!
