Re: My_pryd-njoy<~~~~

ok so heres a little more info on the background of this ol truck here...

my gpa n gma bought this truck back in 71
they bought it to pull their trailer for there out of state hunting trips
after a wrongful surgery my grandfather became parapalegic and the truck
just had sat in the garage for years hopin one day it would be back on the road again
...as i was little i would always hop in the truck
buckle up honk the horn and listen to the good old johnny cash 8 track lol

then my father had bought the truck off my gpa with intentions to restore the truck
there was absolutly nothing wrong with it but faded paint job and rotten wood bed...

the project unfortunatly got put to the side and sat for another ten years
and just collected more problems such as rust and what not up untill last year when i turnd 17 and
did a pretty good amount of research and money put together i started going at the project myself

first i had rebuilt the motor and tranny with a few performance mods...
had all the bushings replaced under the cab and throughout the front suspension..
powdercoated the frame front to rear

this past summer i sanded through the paint to the original primer coated it with some grey primer for the time being the original olive green wasnt cuttin it for me lol...

this is a project thats coming together little by little after i had my child i havent been able to put the money into it like id like to but all in all shes coming together pretty nicely considering the fact im 17 years young and dont have the mechanical skills as id like to im learning along the way thanks to everyone on this site as well so please drop your comments and your 2 cents and please continue to stick with me and give your advice throughout my build...

thanks
