Frame question.

Has anyone ever tried setting our body style truck on a newer chevy van frame?

The van front end is to short ,front tire would be to close to cab

Re: Frame question.

Is that the only problem? All the stuff people do on here and that's the only stumbling block.

Re: Frame question.

There’s a thread somewhere with someone who put 67-72 cab on a 2000’s van chassis. Same with 2000’s Silverado chassis. Silverado chassis seemed to go easier as they found a Silverado in a configuration that was close enough to not modify the wheelbase. From what I remember both needed careful wheel fitment to keep the tires inside the fenders, especially up front due to the wider track width. They had to run modern wheels with no dish in them.
