The asking prices on used are just as bad.
I saw a run, don't walk, away 2006 K2500HD on a Chevy dealer lot yesterday. They were asking twenty grand for a truck with roughly 280,000 miles on the clock. It smelled like the bottom of an ashtray without opening the doors and it was not inspectable. Poor old girl needed tires, brakes, rockers, and cab corners. That was just on a walk around. I didn't open the doors or look underneath at the floor pans.

These trucks are new to me. I'm still stuck in the 20th century. My '95 Suburban, and another '95 I had, is the newest vehicle I've owned. I bought the Suburban in Dec '14 and it has been my reliable daily driver ever since. I like the '03-'07 Classic Chevys and would like to buy a clean K2500 regular cab, but I've had my eye on a really clean local '94 K2500 Suburban Silverado the same colors as my '95 Cheyenne 'Burb. It might be a while before I move up to this series of GM Truck. I have no interest in anything newer.

My question is, why stop at only two classics?

Better get one while you can. The way they are talking they'll all be EV by 2030. That's just 8 short years. I'm not looking forward to that.

People ask me all the time if I want to sell the 2001, I always say the same thing, nope.

A nice clean driven GMT400 or 800 truck will always catch my eye over the newer stuff and make me feel envious!
