its not stock to the truck but hey it runs

probably fab up a cross member/drive shaft extenstion (i dont know how big a 3 speed is), but mybe its the same size as the 3 ott? you already have a clutch pedal. Mybe someone that has done the swap will chime in :D

Which type of 4 speed, truck or Muncie? The muncies are pretty long if I remember correctly. One might fit in the stock location.

my buddy just sold a saginaw 4 spd for $50. it only ended up needin a shift linkage. i was gonna buy it but i didnt have the money so i told him he could sell it

looks good except for the floor... floor pans should be easy for you to put in.. i just patched a piece in by the cab mount bolt so i didnt have to do much patching... but still nice truck... i like seeing guys our age with trucks like this

The T5 is the 5 speed that came in 3rd (and possibly 4th?) gen f bodies and maybe other vehicles too. I hear that people have good luck with them, while others keep blowing them up. I think it would be fine behind a mild motor if you didn't drive like a bat out of hell. Another member on here, Brad, has a T5 behind the six in his truck

no buddy not really just driving it...found a possible 72 donor truck for the discks and 5 lug.............should start gettin better toward summer.

its my dd and i cant tear it down in 2 day weekends lol

dad bought me some edelbrock valve covers they came in today he suprized me...i put em on today heres some pics...

put in new cd player last week, last nite i put new fan/shroud on, and tonite got new valve covers/seals on...this weekend im painting my front bumper and need to find a rear sport bumper and tailgate...then see bout doin 5 lug power discs....

i put a saginaw 4 speed out of a 67 camaro in my 68 (it was a 3 on the tree) all i needed was the input shaft bearing retainer off the 3 speed and i uses the same bellhousing and drive line. (it bolted right in) there are a few pics in my build thread

havent updated this in forever, and yeah i need to give yall some pictures...well heres some stuff ive got done

front chome bumper from my gmc

edelbrock carb. from my gmc

10 each trim rings (rallys are ugly without rings, looks better with em)

nice cd from walmart i dont know how to set the clock lol

gotta fan shroud

new alternator,(had a small truck fire, burnt a few wires and the alternator, electricall fires and gas fires scare me lol

power brakes (still drum but atleast there easy to push and stop good)
i used the write up from the faq, very easy to do but a real pita to adjust brakelite

gonna be shaving abunch of stuff here soon antena,side markers (is it legal to shave them??!!) and stake pockets hoels, still need to do ABUNCH of stuff but hey it never ends lol
