72 GMC Stepside Project
 

Mostly everything sold, have a number of small parts, hardware and a few other parts.

PARTING OUT, so the truck is not for sale.

I began my project 2 years ago on the 72 GMC Stepside and made decent progress, but have got to the point that I don't have the time or funds to get it done. Selling this as a complete setup, and here is a summary of where it is:

• In-line L6 250 Engine rebuilt professionally and painted
• 3-speed (on the tree) tranny rebuilt and painted
• Frame blasted and painted with KBS
• Rear-end blasted and painted (currenty apart) and have a rebuild kit
• Many new parts purchased (stainless brake lines, rear drum parts, new springs and shocks, new suspension bushings, etc
• Intake/Exhaust manifolds were blasted and painted
• 1BBL carb cleaned and rebuilt
• Distributor cleaned and rebuilt (new cap, rotor, wires and plugs)
• New fuel pump
• New water pump
• All bolts are in bags labeled
• I have pictures of about everything as I took it apart (and put it back together)

Asking $5000 for everything, which seems like a bargain. Hopefully the pictures will help you show the attention to detail I was taking on every part (probably too much at times).

Sorry, I decided to part it out, but the bulk of it is gone, I have the following left: 3-speed tranny, windows, wing windows, full set of new stainless steel brake lines and cables, steering column, some other new joint components, really nice steering wheel and other misc parts.

What color is the steering wheel? I saw your motor sale post for sale a while back and boy someone got a deal on that.

• stainless steel brake lines and rear brake cables

• New Ball joints, u-joints, stainless steel brake lines and rear cables, rear drum rebuild parts and a few other misc parts
