Hydroboost question

SEEMS LIKE I CANT FIND THE OFFSET AIR FILTER assy for my 70 c-10 w/250 so next step is a hydroboost setup. my question is what is the best unit to get exactly in order to use capt fabs brackets ? I,ll be getting a reman unit from rockauto. are the astro h/b units and say a c1500 unit the same braking power ? I use my truck as a truck. I,ve got a new cardone 10-1511 master cyl already. all help/tips are greatly appreciated. I don't need fancy just great brakes my legs are bad from neuopathy is reason for the modification.
highest regards
bob in tn.

Bob what about using a small diameter brake booster? 9" i think they are. Just a little bit ago I saw that very setup on a truck with the 250 engine and stock air cleaner in another thread here.
Maybe that poster will post that underhood pic here for you.

Here it is Bob. It was posted by Rick Devon.

Re: Hydroboost question

You're welcome Bob. Maybe it's not as close as it looks. Other than that maybe contact captain fab as see if his booster brackets will move a stock size booster away enough to clear the air cleaner.

Re: Hydroboost question

I think hydroboost is what I,am forced into. never done hydro before so it will be a learning curve for me.
