Trying to figure out how to do my clutch
easier to press without always get cramps
in the calf’s 🥵
Anyone have some solution?
I have a 69 with three on the three floor shifter.

I have a hydraulic setup on my 72. The pedal is very easy to push.
I used this master cylinder/linkage setup http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=652871

For the clutch side I used an 85+ square body hydraulic clutch aluminum bell housing, slave cylinder and clutch fork with a 12” LUK clutch kit for a ‘72 K20. My truck is a 4 speed, but this setup would work for the three speed as well I would think.

Here are a few pictures of the master cylinder/linkage installation on the cab.

If you are interested in this setup, I’ve got several hydraulic clutch aluminum bell housings. I would be willing to give you one for free if you pay the shipping. I’m sure that’s not an easy to find part in Sweden. I could probably help round up a few of the smaller things like the fittings and lines and ship them all together if that wild help.

Changing the pressure plate to a diaphragm type instead of the 3 finger will help a lot

Awesome information and I’m very thankful for your message.
Yes, it’s hard to get this parts and also it’s not many car guys
that’s know how to solve this problems.
So I will gladly pay for shipping cost.
I’m sure that some of the parts I might find here,
but in that case I need to know what parts
I need.

Kwmech posted what may possible be lest expensive solution. Of course it requires pulling the transmission to replace the clutch pressure plate.
The diaphragm style gets easier to hold down to the floor where as the finger type gets harder the further you push.
Both converting to hydraulic and/or changing require some mechanical knowledge.
After having all three style clutches (diaphragm, finger and hydraulic) I would take the easy route and replace the pressure plate with a stock style.

Hydraulic give more mechanical advantage but if it tough to hold to the floor it will still be with a hydraulic clutch.

I am assuming your motor is a six or small V8 with a three speed. The stock pressure plate should last a long time. Just don't get a rebuilt one, purchase new and drive on. My daughter can drive, a stock clutch, in traffic without issues.

I do recommend confirming the clutch style by a visual inspection before proceding.

I agree totally on the clutch style being one area that can cause a stiff pedal, however my mechanical linkage was beyond worn out and binding up.
