Love all of the work you have done and your attention to the details.

Following along.

Weird question. I noticed in some of your photos that you have a rock wall on your property, are the rocks local to your property? How is the soil/dirt, is it full of rock or mostly soil? We don't have many rock walls around Texas but our soil type varies from sandy to rocky to rich prairie dirt.

I cant dig here without hitting rocks. There are stone walls all over my property was an active farm from the early 1800s till around 1970 . But the soil is very good

The ball joints are not warn either

Wire wheel on a cordless drill . Thing was so caked with grease a red SC dirt the metal was real clean

Good stuff, well maintained and quality ball joints too. My 67 still has the OE ball joints too and in great shape. Non-PS, one finger steering straight tight AF front end!!!

Found the spindles today . Times like this I wish I had a steam genny . Lots of scraping and wire brushing .

Cleaned the transmission and motor too . Hopefully paint the motor next week

Got to the motor today . Found that both brackets for the alternator are cracked . Have to get the upper one off when I take the fan and pulley off to paint . Then weld them up.

Heater box back on. Engine area is pretty much done moving on the the inside cab . Needed to put the cluster back on to move it almost started it with the oil line pointed directly at me .

Sanded the interior today had factory runs all over . The runs were in the primer and they just sprayed right over them . I went for a gallon of single stage to finish the truck one gallon paint a quart of hardner and a gallon of reducer $464.00 fall of 2020 same exact items $325 .

Passenger door & fender , hood and grille . Might not get done this year unless I get access to a paint booth or just a shop area .
