All I wanna know is where are ya gonna haul stuff at?

j/k Scott. It's coming together nicely.

Keep us updated on pics!!! You know Joe will bug you if you don't!

On a serious note, when you get the frame finished will the front crossmember/LCA's be on the ground aired out? Or are you going to set it up with a "safety factor" just in case? Also diggin that 9". Can't wait to see it in person next summer.

Re: project 62

 Thanks Joe, actually about to try and start the ol camaro here in a bit, so if you hear a loud boom at your house you know what it was ;)

Thanks Tim, ya the only hauling in this one after its done will be foldup chairs
CA's are sitting on the ground now might make a oh cheeit safty for it up front but ill get to that when it gets a little closer. Ya it should be lot farther by the time you swing out next summer, now that i said that Joe will hold me to it so i had better huh

I found one of them on a site about a year or so ago and cannot find it now. What a great way to be different and get rid of a metric ton of weight. Looks good man

Ha, you ain't tellin me nothing. Last winter when I re-installed my engine, one of my hinges decided to tweak and wouldn't shut. I removed them to install new ones and almost got killed by that titanic sized hood. Good times

Dam. How did I miss this build thread? I've been waiting to see more of that truck. Good work man. I'd like to see you, me and the cracka with finished trucks at the same place and the same time. So what do you think, this year?

Re: project 62

Nice job.......you had mentioned stuff in progress on a few threads and its nice to see what you have done. The frame is a big undertaking; the stance is killer so worth the effort IMO.

, Thanks dude! Ya that would be sweet to go cruising!! :metal:
Well after Christmas and first of year is over id like to hit it pretty hard again. Whats most time consuming is the frame and body work, other than that i have "most" everything for it, all seals, power windows, wiring harness and most engine parts already machined, i could go on but not sure what i really have for it new but the wife is getting tired of looking at it all in the computer room

You need to get with ol cracka and swing by sometime.

Re: project 62

pulling everything out of the cab that will un-bolt.
pulled the windshield and back glass. I'm going to pull out the dash and either fix it or replace it. Sand and paint the inside of the cab after some new pans, rockers and cab corners. plans are to pull the front clip, doors and bed. clean up the firewall and the frame, install vintage air, get the engine compartment cleaned up and painted. pull the engine and repaint and re-seal, install the 700R4, new wiring, ect, ect, ect.
kinda thinking that going this far might as well pull the cab and paint/powder coat the frame while we are at it.......i'm sure it will snow ball
oh yeah, gonna buy/build a rear gas tank also......
