1977 Silverado "Lightning"

Picked up a 1977 Silverado on May 31st for $800. And drove it an hour home without a problem! Owner said it was his late aunts truck who passed away (at 60, she was the 2nd owner) and they needed to get it out of the garage before they sold the house. It had been sitting since February and they had no real idea if it was going to start because the ignition cylinder was locked up. I snagged one before I even went to look at the truck and had the steering wheel off in 2 minutes (which really surprised them) once the new key was in we tried to start it but the battery was dead, BUT it was still under warranty at autozone so I got a new one for free, to me at least! Poured some gas down the carb and it started right up. Went for a test drive, payed the guy, and then drove it an hour home.it passed emissions like a champ and runs great! Probably just going to clean up the original paint and add some trim and then lower it and maybe do an engine swap down the road for something "beefier" than the 350 it currently has
