Removing retractable seat belt from '67

I'd like to keep the original seatbelts out of this parts truck because I like the color, basically. Is there an easy way to get at the bolt without wrecking the cover?

Easy but not fast way would be keep conditioning the cover with vinyl softener,
For a few weeks.

If you are wanting to remove them in a timely manner you could drill the bolt out from the bottom if that section of the floor needs to be replaced.

If drilling is your choice, Use Jobber drills or shorten a regular twist drill.

Hope this helps.:chevy:

Try using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the cover at bottom.

There is the whole build the time machine of your choice, then go back 50 years and buy a new set plan.

WD-40 does soften that stuff up also.

I would use Kitten Gloves to save what you have.

Just my Suggestion.:chevy::chevy:
