crazy longhorn 01-28-2003 09:01 PM

Thats one expensive chunk of aluminum:eek: crazyL:p

Big69C20 Toy 01-28-2003 09:54 PM

aww forget that thing! for that price you could buy 2 hardcore engines from bill jackson (i think that's the dude's name) dang too much for me!

Snowbound 01-28-2003 10:54 PM

I think I might buy one as an investment and put it in my rec room. Hey it's better than tech stocks! I'd rather dig up an original 427 ZL-1 though. That's the real deal.

Well there must be a group buying this stuff as there are more and more of these limited edition engines being put out with snappy names, big prices and little else going for them. I'm no rocket scientist, but I don't see anything there that justifies that kind of price.

Yukon is correct. You would have to be somebody to get one anyway with only 200 being made. If you had 22K cash in hand I bet you would be hard pressed to get your hands on one unless your last name was Leno, or Cruise, or Petty....

Man, that is a beautiful engine though. For that kind of money I would just the entire front clip off so you could see the motor.
