Vintage Video Thread
 

I know we've got links scattered about, but beyond the trucks in movies thread, I'm not aware of one that consolidates marketing or promotional films about our trucks.

We've got a vintage picture thread...and since there's no better resource IMO than images or video in period...I though we should have a vintage video thread. And there are a fair few videos by Chevrolet and even comparison videos by competitors that show the trucks in some detail available on the web.

So I'll kick it off with a good one. Here's 18 minutes of '72 Chevrolet promotional bliss. If you've only got a second, fast forward to the poor guy in the Bronco getting dragged backwards at 11:30...

Pretty cool old vids, except the part where they beat up new C10s lol

I live about 10 miles from the old GM proving grounds and recognize a lot of the landscape and mountains.

This is the safety video we had to watch in my middle school shop class.

At time 2:17 there's a vignette with what looks to be a 67 3/4T Chevy Custom Camper.

Chevy video for passenger car options in 1972 - I caught a glimpse of a Suburban at 0:57 and go-go boots at 01:47 but didn't yet watch the whole video.

Of note, the suburban has white, painted hub caps.
