Truck looks badass from the rendering. Are those Detroit Steel wheels? 20/22"?

Looking forward to seeing this built through.

Yes they are DSW 20x8 with 4.75 backspace all the way around. The next tech article will be on suspension. Unsure if I will be doing bags or coilovers.

Thank you. Text me and I'll give you more info. I wrote the tech for Street Trucks magazine and don't want to write too much here until the article comes out. Mark 6234510221

Should be a fun build.

The tech article is complete for Street Trucks and C10 Builder's Guide. Once the magazine comes out I will post more pictures here.

Next up is suspension. I will do a 4/6 static drop with air bags in the rear for towing.

I hope you have had time to pick up the newest issue of C10 Builder's Guide. I believe my tech starts on page 68. Next issue will be complete suspension with disc brakes and tow bags.

All suspension and brake parts are from Performance Online. The install took 3 days. Included everything in the pictures. Next up is new gears and axels, wheels and tires.

Im confused. You read the article and have questions about the "air suspension setup?" There is nothing mentioned about air suspension. There are NO plans to bag this Suburban. It is a static drop with tow bags on the rear.

Thank you. It is a blast to drive and gets plenty of looks when the diesel roars!

i may be confused then. a couple posts above my question is a picture of a compressor, an air tank, and bags, an Airmaxx kit. I didn't realize you were solely using the bags for towing. makes sense now

Im getting older. I like the bagged look but like the dependability of a static drop.
