Needed a more focused forum

I am very well versed with auto forums. Like many of you, once I get a new vehicle in my fleet, I find some forum that caters specifically to that vehicle. So, what did I buy that brought me here? This:

1969 GMC 2500 2WD. Chevy inline 6 (not sure of the displacement), 4-speed stick, & super low gearing. Some previous owner removed the long bed & put on a flat bed. The rear wiring was sliced & diced in order to put those lights on, so I've started this project by trying to fix that. I was told that the truck was used as a farm truck in Montana. I wonder to myself if the mileage on the odometer is original or if it's rolled over. I'll be picking up tips for a bit around here before diving into the project.

Welcome!!
Nice project!!
Even has that rare inline coolant heater useful in the cold of the Big Sky Country.
Likely not needed where you live. But a good conversation piece!!

See, I learned something new. Although, I couldn't identify that coolant heater if it was worth a million dollars. :hh:
