On mine I used a walbro inline 255 pump and a vette filter/regulator...the regulator bypasses back into the tank..on the engine fuel rails there was a return rail..I capped that off with -an fittings..the pump is run by a relay in the fuse block that came with my psi harness....this is just one way to do it..there are others...I plumbed all my fuel lines with -6 an hoses and fittings...

Did you have to get a new tank to adapt to that?

I followed much of what "soule64" did in his build thread called: "Another LSx/4L60e Swap"

External pump I've heard makes way too much noise from what I've been told????

Zach..No new tank...but my original tank had a return port on it already..on my sending unit i have a suction, a return, and a vent barb on it..if your doesn't have that you would need to ad one if done like my setup.. you can always do an intank pump but that's extra work I didn't want to do...external pump works great..

Dads79...I'm sure not all pumps are created equal but the only time you can hear mine is when you turn on the switch before cranking...you can sorta hear it if you get your ear down close to the tank..half my tank is under drivers seat..other half under the bed..pump, filter, regulator sits on top of the tank

i used the tank from a 87 tbi truck with a bigger pump in the sender ment for a ls truck. an fittings and lines to the rail. mine has regulator on rail and return style so nothing extra but what i mentioned had to be done besides wires to the fuel pump as well

On my old 74 i had the stock tank with an inline walbro 255 pump and a fuel filter before the pump. Used regular rubber fuel lines

Ivorton...i wouldn't be using reg rubber gas line on a high pressure fuel system

It actually wasnt rubber...it remember it was some kinda high pressure line tho...cant remember what its made of. But anyways never had any troubles with it at all...no leaks or anything
