guage repair

Both my temp and fuel gauge have been afu. Got ahold of some other gauges (after changing the sending unit, tearing the dash apart, looking for wiring diagrams and numerous trips to the store to replenish the garage fridge). Changed the shunt on the back of the switch and all is good. Found this web site http://www.fix-a-gauge.com/faq.php and they sell the shunts for $7.95. Not worth puting a used one in at this price...Haven't ordered from them yet, but am planning to tomorrow.
