Fuel pressure question

1970 C10
350/350

Restored the truck in the 2017 and installed all new fuel lines, bed tank, and new 600 eddy carb.
Brought the truck out from winter storage this past week
I have a fuel pressure gauge and noticed is was running at 2lbs. From memory I believe it was 4lbs last year.
Mechanical fuel pump and Approx 5 years old.
Seems low? I low anything over 5-6 will give the eddy carb probs but is this too low?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Fuel pressure question

Do you have a liquid filled gauge?
Some of them crap out from the heat.
Try a different gauge.

I ran a pair of Carter afb’ s (think eddy carb)at 2 psi right up to 120mph on more than one occasion.

Yes. It’s a liquid filled gauge. I’ll check that.
Thanks!
