1982 Chevy truck wheels
I bought a all stock 1982 chevy truck that was just parked for several years. My question is it has the factory ralley wheels. I have a nice set of aluminum wheels that would look good on it. My plan is to get it running then sell it. Should I keep the stock wheels on it or put the aluminum wheels on it.

I prefer the rally wheels.

But - if you go with aluminum- there will be folks lined up to take those rally's off your hands. K |

Just wondering what would make the truck sell better stock or aftermarket

Tried to start the truck today and it cranked just a little then will only click. Cant turn the engine over now. Is a 305 worth rebuilding?

Re: 1982 Chevy truck wheels
Nothing wrong with a 305. If it turned over and now it only clicks, sounds like the battery to me.

Yeah it sounds hydro-locked. Remove spark plugs and try again as mentioned.

Re: 1982 Chevy truck wheels
No fuel going to the carb. I was just trying to see if the engine would turn over. It has been sitting for 10 plus years. I pored some trans fluid down the intake and am going to let it sit for a few days and try it again.
