ACC Carpet fitment

I redoing the interior and swapped out the blue for a saddle brown carpet. I bought the acc carpet from RockAuto and it shipped from ACC. It’s labeled as 67-72 auto on column w/gas tank in cab. My truck is a72 c20 so it has the low hump. I installed it and it’s super baggy over the hump. Should it fit fairly snug to the contours? My guess is it’s about two inches to bulky.

I got the one with no tank and it fits great.

You probably got a high hump carpet. It should fit the floor and not be baggy. My ACC carpet fits perfect.

Definitely sounds like a high hump carpet, there have been threads in the past that Rock Auto doesn't describe the high and low hump correctly. I think it says th400 is high hump, which it's not.

I’ve read those. That’s why I chose the c10 when doing fitment. When I put C20 it automatically loaded a 400th trans. I think it might have been a mispackage by ACC. The box says it’s for 67-72 automatic on column. I might try to call tomorrow but not sure if they will be open.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get ahold of somebody at Rock Auto. They don't want to talk to people directly. They only want to confer through email.

When I did finally get in touch with an individual, he said that's how they keep their prices so low. Additionally, he reinforced that they aren't like Summit or other parts houses as they do not have staff to answer questions.

They did take care of a carpet problem I had due to how the carpet was listed. They had only shown a CST carpet for a Blazer, but not for the Jimmy. After I sent the contact pictures of the box they sent it in (that was mutilated), they just sent me the correct carpet.

Although it was quite a process, they did come through in the end.

If they replace your carpet and don’t ask for old back I’d buy it for project burb

I think it was packaged wrong by acc. The box says it should be what I need to fit but it’s def not. I have pics but can’t seem to load them via the mobile

Rockauto will be replacing it. They spoke to ACC and realized it was mispackaged.

And the new seat installed. I think once I get the saddle carpet it will look so much better.

Awesome glad you got it sorted out. Saddle is my favorite interior color in these trucks. That is going to look really good.
