The cab is beyond repair but the truck is complete. Might try to get it started before I tear into it. Had to take the washing machine as part of the deal!

Looks like something fun, to fiddle with!
Never seen the "Grandpa" light brown/dark brown paint on one of these pickups. Was a common color starting in 1988.
Interesting on the front inlet Quadrajet...
I've also never seen add on cruise, that had speedo cables. (I've obviously not seen a lot...)
If it'll run, it would help sale value, or be peace of mind for you in future1
Congrats on saving it for parts. 3/4 ton stuff is not all that common to find...

WHen I bought my 68 Golden, in 1980, the owner had been remodeling his house. I had to take a bed full of old flooring, lumber, etc...I was happy to oblige!

It was obviously someone's pride and joy at one point. The added cruise control and the paint are interesting additions. The Qjet is off of a Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac. They for the most part used the straight inlets.
That seat has certainly had some miles on it.
I know the "have to take stuff" you don't need feeling to get the deal done. I've a got a pile of 64 Cadillac parts I can't seem to sell from one of those deals. A dead washer would be much easier to deal with.

Wow a free washer and an extra power steering pump hooked up to the brakes - an early version hydra boost brakes? -- good score!

I wonder if those finned valve covers will clean up and look decent.

Getting the bed off. Wood floor actually looks decent so I'll try to use that on my swb.

Im not certain that a Q jet carb. It looks like a square base Rochester 4 GC likely not the original engine. different valve covers ect. If it has a title get it running and drive it for a winter beater. the build sheet in the glove box stated chrome wheel covers. In the first picture they appear to be the polished aluminum. and in the lat picture they are patina steel?

I have a 69 GMC C2500 parts truck with factory 350 engine that has that same 2 barrel setup.

Did they add a tach as well? Lot of good parts.

Nice score! Cab looks good to go for a restore but I am basing that on what we see for cabs in the Midwest.

It's a Buick, Olds or Pontiac Quadrajet!!!

HO, Cad's used side inlet Q-Jets. Had to the AC compressor sat on front/top/center of engine. Rear engine of the good old A6 compressor buts right up against the front of the Q-Jet 9on a Cad engine) Kinda weird. If you ever look at a factory Cad V-8, everything is weird
