1969 Chevrolet big fender C60, 427 gas, 5 speed trans, 2 speed rear end. 70% rewired and have the other 30%, haven't put on, all wiring cane from M+H electrical fabricators. Air brakes in great shape. I eplaced all the gaskets, stainless block hugger headers, 2-1/2" dual exhaust with an H-pipe, plugs, wires, HEI distributor, AVS2 carb, intellitronix gauge cluster (POS), had the clutch rebuilt by Detroit Clutch Masters, installed a new starter ring gear, new starter, 4 new retreads on the rear, 2 new steer tires, all 6 rims are new 22.5 (tubeless), recon led cab lights, fuel filter, interior has sound deadening and new rubber floor mat, 50 gallon saddle tank plus the factory 16-18 gallon in the cab. Comes with a set of 5:29 gears, not installed. Will cruise at 60 mph all day long with its current gears.
There's plenty more I can't remember right now, will add as I think of more. I don't have enough time to enjoy the truck with my work schedule. $9,500 obo. Located in south east Michigan. Feel free to ask any questions. I can take more pictures if needed . |

Re: 1969 c60
Any idea how many miles are on it?
|
Re: 1969 c60
I took a picture of the original dash before I changed it to an intellitronix dash and it shows 80,484 miles.

Re: 1969 c60
Is the 427 original? Was the hood swapped?
|
Re: 1969 c60
The build sticker inside the dash says it originally came with a 427. The current 427 is not the original one, the original motor had a lot of problems.
I pulled the original motor and installed another 427TD with great compression and still has the original cross hatches from the machining. I replaced all the gaskets in the new motor from the pan to the carb preventably. Not a single leak from the motor. |
Re: 1969 c60
I cannot tell you if the hood is original to the truck or not. I have not changed anything on the body since I've owned it. I know it does not have the 427 emblems.
