I pulled this from a 99 Suburban today. Cost me $49.84. I have 45 days to return it for a refund, so you can try it and return it to me within that time frame for refund minus shipping costs.

PJ, any other parts available from that '99 Burb? I'm needing both a good passenger right front door and rear cargo right door actuators for power locks if you have access them and can verify they both work? Let me know and thanks.

I can go take a look. It is at a wrecking yard, so I don't really have a way to test the door locks though.

Would appreciate it if you can check into the door lock actuators for me. Perhaps ask the yard "if" they have any idea about the condition of the parts and what the cost would be for both. Depending on the $$ would be willing to take a chance on them. Send me a PM if you want to keep from cluttering your ad posting. Thanks.

Here's the front passenger door actuator. There is a tear in the side of the rain boot that sits over the top of it.

Here's the actuator for the rear right cargo door. I removed this one by removing the rivets that secure the bracket to the door. It would have been a real challenge to loosen the fasteners because they are facing the bottom outer corner of the door.

PJ, the door lock actuators work fine and I can now lock the doors on my Tahoe. Thanks for the assistance to fix that problem. Now.....

What sort of shape is the outside passenger side door mirror on that Suburban? My mirror outer case or surround has a huge chunk broken out of the outer edge altho the glass is good. It is a power mirror W/O HEAT, option code is D48 and a matte or flat black paint of the outer case or surround. Would appreciate if you could check into the outer passenger side mirror availability and price with shipping if possible?

Slowly getting things into shape on this Tahoe. Its my new daily driver and as with any used vehicle there is always things that need attention after purchase. Some have been simple, some not so much but again not unusual when buying a used vehicle.

If you don't mind waiting, I'd be happy to take a look at the mirror the next time I'm at the wrecking yard. It may be a couple of weeks. They have another similar Suburban there that is also in very nice condition.

PJ, no hurry at all on my part, whenever you get the chance to visit again is fine. Might look at both Suburban mirrors for condition and being functional and the option codes for both in the glove box. My Tahoe has the D48 powered mirror but it is NOT heated. I can post a pic to this thread tomorrow of the one I have complete with the missing chunk, :lol:

Also if at all possible maybe ask about the console lid latch? Mine is missing completely, lid and console are fine but no latch (?) Not sure the reasoning there. :lol: Thanks again, :chevy:

PJ, pics of my 99 Tahoe mirror. Not the best, took them inside, snowing pretty hard at the time. The outer plastic framework or glass is cover is broken at the outer edge. Powered but NOT heated. Left side remote works fine, right side does not move at all. No hurry at my end, I can used the mirror as is, just doesn't look the best of shape, LOL.

I got the passenger side mirror off of that Suburban today. It was actually about the only mirror that wasn't broken on all of the trucks there other than one that was a heated variety. The finish is quite sun-faded on this mirror, and the glass has a scuff on it that I've tried to show in one of the photos. The mount hinge is good and tight. The motors do work. Here's a video of them in action.

I also grabbed the center console latch out of the same vehicle.

If you are wanting a nicer-looking mirror, I totally understand. I have 30 days to return it for a refund.
