s10 blazer lift?
My son wants to lift his s10 blazer so he can put bigger tires on it. I have some ideas but can anyone tell me what the prefered method is?

Re: s10 blazer lift?
Well, the cheapest way is body lift... then you'd be looking at a 2" suspension for the next least expensive route. You could combine the two lifts...
Unfortaunately, unless you can find one used on eBay or something, the bigger suspension lifts are very pricey. We had the 2" superlift on our 91 Blazer. |
Re: s10 blazer lift?
A couple of guys in our New Jersey chapter lifted theirs with the 6" superlift kit.
Here is a link to some of the install pics. http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...lift%20Install |

I looked at that link ,that's some serious stuff looks like a lot of work. What's a kit like that go for? is it a lot diffrent for an older truck? This one that we have is a 93.I'll bet that kit is worth more than the whole truck. How long did it take to set that up?

Re: s10 blazer lift?
I'm not entirely sure on all the techicalities. Get on www.blazerforums.net and pm either blazin4x4 or georgesblazah. They both have this setup, the pics were from blazin4x4s build. Tell them Andy form SK WI sent you to them.

Re: s10 blazer lift?
Well I won't have to worry about lifting that truck anymore. Some freind of my son blew the motor in another Blazer and offerd to buy this one.We bought it for $600 and the Kid is gonna give him $500 but let him take out the buckets ,consol dash w/cluster ,tiltwheel and just about anything else in the interier that he wants for his pickup. The truck was kind of a beater so it's probably just as well instead of dumping a bunch of money into it.It needed rear main leaf a muffler and tailpipe and a windshield just to pass state inspection. It does run sweet though the kid shouldn't have a problem with the motor.
