I would have had another 0 behind that 82 by now! Still ridiculously nice.

I'd have to drive it more than that too. I'd have magnetic inner fender liners and 3M paint protection film everywhere but I'd be driving it whenever it's nice out.

Great article but I had to smile a little when I read the line that said it was in such good condition that it didn't require too much work.

Nice article...congrats but following the build we know it was a lot of work and it's a lot nicer than new and is show quality.

Appreciate all the comments!!

The owner had the truck out at Blue Ridge Fest last weekend. We've been going the last 3-4 years and it's always a great show.

very nice job,1 question I restore a 65 and 66 both had 352 auto didn't the 6ft bed f100s with 352 v8 auto have dana limited slip rear end instead of the ford 9 inch,??? I thought only the 8ft bed f100s had 9 inch rear,

I worked on a summer job from college loading and unloading new Fords (including pickups) on and off rail cars (auto racks) in 1966. This was in the Strawberry Rail Yards of the L&N railroad, and just down the road from the Ford assembly plant in Louisville, KY. That truck looks as good or better than the brand new pickups I remember unloading every day. Seeing that truck brings back the new truck smell I experienced each day. Well done.
