who makes shocks for 67-72?

all my shocks are basically blown out and its time fro some fresh ones. In my quest to thwert the problem on get teh rear tires to hook up i wanted to put the shocks that allow the front of the truck to rise and the to squat. who makes some fo these for our trucks i cant seem to find any, all i ever see are the edelbrock shocks in the catalogs.

I bought Rancho RSX's for my truck, they sure ride better than those old ones i had (i think gas charged champions or somethin).
I know KYB and KONI will probly have things for your application, but you'll probably have to call them, they might not deal with vehicles in our weight range. They are the big racing shocks i know of. Otherwise i'm sure hecklehorn, gabriel and the others have stuff available. You'll probly have to find some knowledeable person though if things arent catalog listed.

Good luck and happy hunting.

I used Gabriel gas ryder VST. Similar to the new valve sensing Edelbrock shock, at about 1/3 the price.

Pep Boys has the VST Gabriel shocks, but be careful to check the fronts, my last set had sleeves in the upper eye, same diameter as the stud on the frame. They rechecked the part number and came up with another number that has the correct diameter rubber bushing with no sleeve. $19.99 each. Two different stores came up with the same bad part number, be aware.

i'd go wiht some nice rancho shocks 9000 i think, they have the 5 speed setting, now those are nice. set the rear and front to different settings.

i just changed my orginal spiral shocks for some napa premium gas shocks when i rebuilt my front end. i should notice a diff.

i havent ordered them yet but my local speed shop said lakewood lists drag shocks for trucks, im putting 50/50's up front and 90/10's out back, i wouldn't do that for the street though. Devin
