Baltimore CL

A '69 stepper in Baltimore, not mine, but the owner put what looks like a lot of $ into and is selling it for cheap.

Could be a nice ride for somebody.

It appears so. Hmm... a 700r4 on a 2wd truck? Does that make sense?

Re: Baltimore CL

It does to me, my C10 has a 700R4, Camaro's came with them before the 4L60's (which is basically a 700R4 anyway)

I dunno, though I am suspicious that with all the new stuff he's put on he only wanted $3500 on CL and $2650 on eBay. Looks like it got sold, though, via eBay.

Re: Baltimore CL

Those are the exact same pic's

It has been on CL for at least 3 weeks (seems like longer) and has gone from $4,000 down to $3,500, then down to $3,000 and then back up to $3,500

Re: Baltimore CL

If it's the same guy, looks like he put the CL add up the evening just before the auction ended. Hopefully the winner actually gets the truck.

Re: Baltimore CL

Someone ought to tie up the craigslist buying process to give the eBay winner time to pick the thing up. That's legal, right?

Re: Baltimore CL

Just to update: Even though he's got a winning bid on eBay, he still says it's for sale when I asked him via email. Sounds like a scam to me, but I'm not tht experienced with this type of thing. Does anybody have any advice as to how to proceed, so the eBay buyer actually gets the truck?

Re: Baltimore CL

Is there any possibility that he was the winning bidder on ebay & is trying to sell it right away?

It's the same ad from the same guy that's been posting it on CL for over a month.
