Project Slo 6 0

Hey there, I thought I'd share the background and current build of my 71 c10. Hoping to get some feed back and even some suggestions. I purchased it about a year ago and started working on it a few months ago in spare time. Purchased the truck with rebuilt 327 and turbo 350. The truck was apart but had every part imaginable and only rust spot was a small hole in the passenger rocker. Got everything for 2500. Got rid of the motor and trans. Picked a LQ4 6L and 4L80. Plans for a low, clean, and plain ol bad ass pick up. Have started the long list of mods and is slowly taken shape. Hope you guys stay interested and like the progress.

Chris

Are you doing your own body work ? That's a huge advantage, looks good

Yes I'm doing all the bodywork myself. Been building cars for over 10 years now. And you're right it definitely is an advantage as bodywork can be costly. The only thing I will not be doing myself is spraying the color (but spray all the primers), the suspension, and motor/turbo set. Thanks for checking it out and for the response.

Hey there he is, glad to see you back on it, everything looks great.
Man you couldn't have found one in better condition to start with if you looked at 50,000 trucks, helluva find.

Yes sir I lucked out. the truck had one rust hole the size of a pen top on the passenger rocker. I replaced both rockers just to save a potential future issue.

An older photo before sandblasting but it shows the top of the dash that I made to eliminate the vents and the god forsaken dash pad. Photo was taken while mocking it up not welded in the photo. As well as the dash center. And I already know that will be some people that do not like it
