TF fender height difference question
I hope I can ask this correctly. I would like to know the difference between the height of the front/rear fenders so I can figure out how much to drop. Assuming that the truck is sitting level (no rake), what would the difference be between the fender edge and center of the wheel for both front and rear? Obviously, the front fender sits a lot higher on the truck than the rear. Tire size won't matter since I'm only looking for the difference between the front/rear.
Thanks, JJ |

My 55.2 has all stock suspension and is 19" in front and 16" in the back. Hope that helps.

Might be helpful to know about the tires and rims he is running. They certainly aren't stock. I don't know what you are planning Agnes.

Re: TF fender height difference question
The fenders are different heights on the body. I wanted to know how much higher the front fender lip is than the back fender lip. Denny has a19" front distance to the hub an a 16" rear distance to the hub. Since his truck is pretty level, that gives me the number I'm looking for - 3". Wheels and tires really won't matter since I'm only looking for the difference between the two. Just needed a measurement from a level truck.

My '55 is 17in in the front and 16in at the back. My front springs do not have nearly the arch that the back ones have, worn out or de-arched?

This '58 is all stock suspension, all wheels and tires the same size, and there's a 2" difference front to back in the fender lip height measured at the center of the wheels.
