Radiator Core Support Removal

I am replacing the engine in my son's 70 pickup. I want to remove everything in front of the engine to make it easy to pull. I have removed everything except the core support. It seems to be loose but resists coming out. It seems like it should slide out the front after all bolts are removed. Does it require the fenders to come out?

Bump as I'd like to know this too.

You don't have to take the fenders off all the way but they do have to be real loose as the support sits somewhat inside the fenders, It easier to though. Make sure you take out the frame mounting bolts under the radiator too.

It's also bolted to the inner fenders.

We have found it is usually just as easy to slip the whole front cap off as an assembly.

I was hoping to avoid alignment issues and keep the clip on. With the grime rusty frame mounts I found, it needs to come out and get some love. Looks like I'm going to loosen a couple of fenders. Thanks gang.
