Cpp "bent" trac bar

I have the cpp "bent bar. truck is lowered with 3' drop springs and a 1" block

when installed the bar does not sit level as the stock bar does. does it matter?

It is a street strip truck. the drive-shaft occasionally rubs on the cross-member.(i'm guessing when launching) and is more to the right and not on center with the stock bar. so i'm guessing i need the adjustable one. anyone have any insight to this?

The track bar does center the rear end so you may need to adjustable bar to get set up correctly at ride height.

You might try posting pics of the bar installed at ride height, and if you get some measurements of how much clearance there is on each side of the driveshaft to the crossmember.

With the longer tracking bars (like what you have), the arc is less than it would be with the shorter factory panhard bar. This would create less lateral movement when you hammer down and the rear end squats. So this is a step in the right direction.

The cpp tracking bar is probably not level by design, and I wouldn't expect it to be a problem. If the driveshaft isn't centered, and it is rubbing, than an adjustable bar could fix that.

There are other brands of tracking bar systems that lower the mounting point further below the frame, probably for the purpose of keeping the bar more level, and minimize that lateral movement.

i reinstalled it. its not too bad. except the bar isnt short enough to center the axle. its off 1/4'
