My build was planned on day one for a diesel conversion. However I can't find a 1989 12v cumming 6bt. WOW I bought 1970 4x4 for $600 but it wasn't any good. |

I don't have skills, $$, alot of tools or knowledge. But I do have passion and sometimes luck. I found a CLEAN metal long bed..
I started my welding, body and painting home training course lol |

I had some many problems with the door. $50 a door and went thought 4 or 5 in till i got a pair to work on in my skill leave.

worked on the cab. ROAD trip to Utah for my favorite lunch. Came back the next day to work on the hood.

To work the hell out of it. Still looking for a cummins diesel 12v 7 r47 trans... However did pick up a Clean 1987 Chevy Duelly Dana 60 front axle for $800. |

That's cool. I always find a lot of satisfaction in using my truck for what it was meant for. Much more fun than tooling around and babying it.

The Eaton 410 grs back axle was in good shape. I still waned to change the wheel bearing and seals, Very tough to find and expensive. Got them all off amazon for $300. Them got a disc brakes kit here in town.

I didn't like the 20" bling.... it a work truck so I got 18" fuels

Changed from a dully hubs to swh it was straightforward and the studs.

I install a new suspension using sky jackers 2.5 lift and hangers from offroad design... IT was time to paint so I set up a cheep cover and painted a way.
